Dr. Hall began her own practice as St. Croix Animal Hospital and Bridgetown Animal Clinic in 1982 . Since that time the mixed practice was consolidated into Bridgetown Animal Hospital Inc. which has grown from a single person practice focusing on Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, to a three veterinarian practice with 5 support staff. Fred Weidhaas, Business Manager
Fred is our 'Jack of all trades' at the Bridgetown Animal Hospital. You'll often see him running between being a receptionist, repair man, book-keeper, and office manager. Fred is no stranger to the Animal Hospital, married to Dr. Susan Hall, he has always been an integral part of the business as it has grown over the years. He received his BSc from King's College and worked as an entrepreneur in his own business, Round Hill Pewter, for 25 years. From flowers arrangements and giftware, to casting pewter creations, he still has people requesting his yearly christmas decorations. However, lucky for the Bridgetown Animal Hospital he is now helping the business run smoothly for our staff and clients. When he is not busy at the hospital, he is spending time with his wife Dr. Hall, his two daughters Emily and Sarah Weidhaas, and his many animals on the family farm. Their newest addition to the family, seen in this picture, is Carlos. He is an adopted rescue kitten who travelled all the way home from Cuba. Fred is also an avid runner, alongside with the Bridgetown running group and friends.

Marianne Marshall, Veterinary Assistant
Marianne is our extraordinary hospital assistant. She is often busy at our front desk helping our clients with their appointments and questions. She also juggles phone recalls, lab work, animal restraint, surgical preparations and clean-up. Marianne received her diploma in agricultural business with a minor in animal science in 1994 from NSAC. She then worked at Upper Clements Wildlife Park for twelve years as senior park attendant. She gained valuable experience caring for a wide variety of animals, ordering food, souvenirs and stock for the admissions building. She especially enjoyed caring for the injured animals; raccoons, skunks, coyotes, rhea birds, and white tailed fawns. In 1999 Marianne spent the year travelling abroad in Australia, and returned to complete a bachelor of science with a major in animal science in 2003 from NSAC. The following year she met her darling husband Jonny, and they have since been raising their two children Ella and Ben. Their family also includes several fur babies, including two labrador retrievers Daisy and Stella, two cats Pablo and Gnocchi, their rabbit Hop and numerous sea monkeys. The Bridgetown Animal Hospital was lucky enough to grab Marianne in 2010, and she has been an integral part of our team ever since.
